Our homes are staffed by an experienced and diverse team of adults, whose aim is to develop a consistent approach and give continuity of care for the young people residing there.
The relevant qualifications and experience of the Registered Manager and care staff employed by Plus One can be located in their Personal Profiles in each of the Registered Homes individual Statements of Purpose and are available electronically by request. These profiles include an account on the individual’s experience before joining the organisation, their training and professional development during the course of their employment. All employees are DBS (enhanced) checked prior to commencing employment with us and re-checked after each 3 year period.
All care staff have achieved NVQ Level Three Health and Social Care in Caring for Children and Young People / or are working towards the QCF Level Three Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma. Registered Managers have NVQ Level Four Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care / Manager of Residential Child Care / Registered Manager Award and in most cases QCF Level Five Leadership for Heath and Social Care Children and Young People’s Residential Management.
